The other day I got yet another glimpse of why I am so lucky to be a mom.
I took Emma with me to the optometrist’s office to pick up my glasses. While we were waiting, I showed Emma this little toy I put on her car seat:
I moved the feet. Then I showed her what happens when you touch the ears. They make this cute little crinkle/crunch sound.
After I received my glasses, Emma and I braved the wind and rain to the car, and then we began our drive home.
As I was making our way out the parking lot, guess what I heard coming from the back seat?
“Crunch, crunch. Crinkle. Crunch.”
Emma played with the elephant all the way home …
