Emma was blessed last Sunday. She cried through almost all of it but stopped immediately after it was over. Fortunately the mike was far enough away from her that her cries weren’t so loud. Ben did a great job and I was so happy my dad was in town to be part of the blessing. Ben also invited the bishopric, Paul Cardon and Eric Bush (friends from church) to participate.
The dress is a work of art made by Ben’s mom who’s a master heirloom seamstress and lace-maker. She made the dress several years ago for Ben’s cousin’s baptism and then sent it to us for Emma to use. She embroidered both Ben’s cousin’s and Emma’s names and dates of birth on the bottom.
